How Do I Allow/Block Websites in My Child's Device using Alaia?

Overview

This article describes how to allow/block websites on your family's computers, tablets and smartphones using Alaia's parental controls.

Summary: Open Alaia app on your (parent/admin) phone, select Family option in Dashboard > My Alaia > My Family > Configure below the specific profile that you wish to customize settings > select Websites.

This can be done through Alaia online Web portal as well. Please login to your account at alaiamind.com through any browser/device > Family from the left panel > Configure.

Step-by-step

Open Alaia App on your phone > Select Family from the Dashboard main menu > select My Alaia > My Family.

Find your child profile under the Children tab and select 'Configure'. Then select ‘Websites’ from the panel at the bottom of your screen.

You can add domains to Allow and Block list here. Use the format 'domain.com' for best results. The "http://" or "www" etc. are not required.

Whitelist Only mode: Choose this mode if you wish to allow only whitelisted websites on your child’s device. 

All websites other than those on your allowed list will be blocked. Click on 'Done' and then on 'Save' at the top right corner of the next window to save the changes you just made for the profile.

You will see a small message that says 'Updated' at the bottom, once your changes are saved.

If you wish to remove a website from the list, just select the term and click ‘Delete’. Again, save this change.
